The students developed “Voci di bambini” as a new communication strategy for the city of Milan, a city renowned for its greenery and vibrant public spaces, now struggling with significant air pollution. The campaign aims to raise awareness and promote clean air initiatives by amplifying the voices of Milan’s children. Children, with their simple yet impactful expressions and characteristic gestures, are the ideal messengers for discussing air pollution in an accessible way.
The campaign utilises various platforms, including digital billboards, public transportation, radio, and commercial spaces, to broadcast children’s messages about air quality and green practices. Additionally, it features public exhibits, booklets with practical tips, and illusion posters designed to engage the community in a fun and straightforward manner. By using emotional storytelling, the campaign seeks to emphasise the urgency of the issue while offering simple, actionable solutions that everyone can adopt.
