Domus Academy in collaboration with Google and Fabio Novembre Studio launched the call “Google meets the Italian Design” to recruit the most creative talents to design a new product that hosts, amplifies or integrates the Google Home devices (mini, home) into contemporary living spaces.
After a first selection phase, selected students from Master in Interaction Design, Service Design, Visual Brand Design, Interior & Living Design, Product Design, Urban Vision & Architectural Design and Business Design, took part in the “Google meets the Italian Design” Marathon 2019.

During the immersive, 48 hours long design marathon students, gathered in groups, had the chance to work close to professionals from Francesco Librizzi Studio, Lissoni Associati, Nichetto Studio, in addition to Domus Academy Faculty members.
10 selected projects have been prototyped by Bitossi, Driade, FontanaArte, Kartell and featured in the exhibition “Talking Crafts” that took place from 26th to 29th September 2019 in the suggestive venue of Piazza Gae Aulenti, Milan.
