The project involved the Japan’s biggest video game company Nintendo and its most successful mobile game Mario-Kart Tour. Mario and Luigi are both Italians, so they decided them to be the storytellers for Kartell’s heritage. They developed a product and communication strategy: a Mario-Kart Tour to discover the iconic products of design inside the Milan Museum, an online and offline campaign.
The aim of the project is to enhance and transfer Kartell’s heritage in the Japanese market through gamification and a real-world debut in Japan.
