Domus Academy’s students from the Fashion Styling workshop have worked on a project called “Make Eyes Think” in collaboration with Vogue Talents.
They started by analysing a specific concept, the word “plastic”, and how it is generally considered superficial, unethical and wasteful while this material can in fact be beautiful, fragile, recycled and environmentally friendly.
The students then highlighted how consumer’s behavior has changed and how the fashion and beauty industries are investing and offering more sustainable and ecologically safe products. Waste is being turned into fashion, which is turned into added value.
They took inspiration for this project from these trends about sustainability and innovation and they used only reused and recycled materials for their photo shoot.
