Envisioning + Architectural Design Workshop
In collaboration with Biennale di Venezia
Students based their project on pollinators, such as bees and other small animals which contribute in a very significant way in the maintenance of ecosystems and the production of food. They have studied the needs of these small workers and compared them with those of human beings, understanding that they are quite similar.
The aim of this project is to create an environment within an urban setting where pollinators can co-exist and collaborate with humans. To do this, they developed moving horizontal and vertical platforms inside the city. In this concept they have integrated our structure onto the rooftops by designing new environments.
