As part of the Experience Design Workshop, Domus Academy students from the Master in Service Design and Master in Interaction Design analysed together with GetYourGuide, how booking services can be transformed by Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technology trends in 20 years.
Within this project, the students Feiyang Xu, Jiawen Ji and Chanunchida Nimyesuin envisioned DEEA, a digital emotional experience flight assistant which consists of different features to help the user through his or her desired journey from the beginning to the end.

DEEA device combines multiple functions: haptic experience function is the service whereas the user can share his or her experience to someone else. DEEA supports user’s travels by navigating and giving information about tourist attractions from a database. It is able to find other devices during the trip and connect each other (in case the user would like to have a trip companion). People tend to forget past experiences – but they want a way to keep it last for a long time – DEEA records sights, smells, sounds, and moods.
The goal of the project is to ensure the users can travel at their highest pleasure from the beginning to the end.
