“The well curated projects by Elisa Poli have definitely widened my thinking and design skills. An opportunity to think beyond was very well established at this Masters Programme.
Being surrounded by people of different cultures really boosted the exchange of thoughts and skills which in turn gave us the best solution possible for each project.
I had the opportunity to be guided by Gianandrea Barreca, Matteo Ghidoni and Elisa Poli. I’m happy that because of the guest lectures, a different perspective was provided to our design process and good connections were built along the way, one such as Architect & Historian of Architecture Gregorio Carboni Maestri, who still guides me today in everything I do.
My neighbors hosted dinners and taught me the language. They even invited me to their summer home in Recco. During the summer I got to do mural paintings for an Indian Restaurant in Navigli, owned by a lovely warm Indian family. Milan has truly given me an extended family.
The Milan Design Week was an extraordinary experience altogether. Getting to know different brands and companies, was a big exposure to see how the world is evolving in the Design field.
Whilst I am still learning and evolving with each day, the teachings & ethics of Domus Academy remain the backbone of my progress.”
