The upcoming Disrupting Patterns online talk will be held on February 23rd and will host Simone Rebaudengo, co-founder at oio studio, a groundbreaking design studio based in London.
During the talk titled ‘Making Futures’, Simone Rebaudengo will cover the projects and practice of the design oio studio. From designing future artefacts for Dubai’s Museum of the Future, to exploring how to co-design products with Artificial Intelligence, Rebaudengo will explore with the audience the approaches and methods to design and make future products, today.
oio studio started its venture in 2020, and has collaborated with companies such as Google, Ikea, Logitech and Arduino.
With a unique and innovative approach, Simone Rebaudengo design future narratives and products. His work explores the future where things are a bit more like people and people will be a bit more like things. He has published fables about more than human futures, created immersive installations about being an appliance with Bruce Sterling and a short movie that won the Robot Film Festival.
His works have been published internationally on Wired, Fast Company and The Atlantic, awarded by Red Dot Design Award, Core77, Interaction Awards and exhibited in galleries and museums such as Vitra Design Museum, Triennial Museum in Milan and MAK Vienna.
The talk will be held online on February 23rd at 5.30 pm.
