Domus Academy will host Matteo Battiston, Chief Design Officer at EssilorLuxottica, during the next Disrupting Patterns Talk on 21st March.
Matteo Battiston, in dialogue with Teikna Creative Director Claudia Neri, will give insights about creative process behind creation of luxury products from future trends research to distribution.
Matteo Battiston has over 15 years experience as Design and Brand Communication creative direction. As Chief Design Officer at EssilorLuxottica he’s leading a global team of more than 100 designers located in Italy, France, US, Japan, Hong Kong, China and Brasil. Ray-Ban, Persol, Oakley, Oliver Peoples, Armani, Prada, Bulgari, Tiffany, Burberry are some of the brands in Portfolio.
Under his direction, a global envisioning research department has been launched with the aim of forecasting fashion and CMF trends in America, Europe and Asia. He also leads the Global Consumer Insights Team at EssilorLuxottica.
He helds lectures and seminars in several universities all over the world and sits in the advisory board of International Creative Agencies.
