The sixth appointment of the talk series, always with the presence of Caterina Lunghi, will be an inspiring interview about his career development and about his leading position, with the aim of giving advices and insights to the students.
John C Jay serves as President of Global Creative for Fast Retailing, the parent company of Uniqlo and other apparel brands in the USA, Europe and Asia.
Previously, he was working with the award winning creative agency Wieden+Kennedy for 21 years as Global Creative Director and a partner of the firm.
During that time, he worked on international brands including Nike. He opened the Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo, Shanghai and Delhi offices.

Previously, he was working with the award winning creative agency Wieden+Kennedy for 21 years as Global Creative Director and a partner of the firm.
During that time, he worked on international brands including Nike. He opened the Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo, Shanghai and Delhi offices.
While living in Tokyo, he founded W+K Tokyo Lab, the innovative independent visual music label. Before his agency career, Jay was Executive VP of Marketing and Creative Director for Bloomingdales in NYC.
John C Jay was named by GD USA magazine as Top Ten Most Influential Art Directors in the Past 50 years. He has been inducted into the Art Directors Hall of Fame and named by Fast Company as “100 Most Creative People in Business”.
He is the founder and creative director for Studio J, his creative consultancy in Portland. He also opened a new building for the ART J Foundation to support young artists.
Furthermore, Jay founded the Jay Scholarship at The Ohio State University to encourage students of Asian heritage to pursue a study in the creative field.
