Anja Carolin Hofmann is a designer with a passion for the automotive field. Going back in the years, she started her studies with a diplome-engineer in interior design in Germany.
Then, she moved to Milan where she attended the Master’s in Business Design at Domus Academy in 2009.

Then, she moved to Milan where she attended the Master’s in Business Design at Domus Academy in 2009. In her Master thesis, Anja researched future (auto)mobility in urban areas. In 2011, she became an external Ph.D. candidate at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
The aim of her research was to find alternative concepts for automobile product design underpinned by user-centered innovations.
She is currently working as Brand architect in Mercedes-Benz. Part of her work is to develop strategic concepts for the international retailing of the brands Mercedes-Benz, Amg, Maybach, and smart.
