Elisa Chiodo, Programme Leader of the Master in Business Design, Master in Visual Brand Design, and the newly launched 2-year Master in Design Leadership & Strategy, will be giving a lecture at Munich Creative Business Week.
As Germany’s largest event dedicated to design, Munich Creative Business Week serves as a pivotal meeting point for both national and international creative and design industries.
In her lecture, titled “From Ideas to Impact: Designing Innovation Through Ethical Leadership,” Elisa Chiodo will discuss how, at Domus Academy, design is viewed as a collaborative process that transforms the cultural and professional diversity of students into a powerful force for innovation. Only within environments that foster strong creative spillover can projects emerge where ideas can dialogue, compete, reinvent, and connect. Empathy, collaboration, and leadership are crucial in guiding these processes, turning insights into innovative ventures.
Elisa will also showcase projects from the Business Design area, demonstrating how design can generate new ideas and business models that address future challenges. Through transdisciplinary teams, critical sessions, and a dialogue-driven approach, students develop new ventures and startup ideas from scratch, exploring solutions with tangible impacts on sustainability and society.
