On 9th December, Domus Academy welcomed Fashion Designer Silvia Giovanardi for a lecture titled ‘Wrad: a successful match of creativity and sustainability’ to Master in Fashion Design Students within the Fashion Collection Workshop.
Wrad has been cofounded by Matteo Ward, Silvia Giovanardi and Victor Santiago in 2015, to raise awareness on the actual costs of the Fashion Industry.
Wrad is not just a brand, but a movement aimed to generate awareness and stimulate a new sustainable lifestyle, starting from Fashion.
Sustainability has been always at the core of Silvia Giovanardi’s practice as Fashion Designer. Starting as Designer at Etro, she cofounded WRAD and opened her own design studio in 2015. Her philosophy promotes the return to the original meaning of fashion as a lifestyle, a modus vivendi that re-discovers, through art, the beauty of nature.
