Domus Academy is thrilled to announce the launch of two dynamic Concept Generation Workshops, designed to empower aspiring design innovators and fashion designers with a unique opportunity to get scholarships for our prestigious two-year Master of Arts programmes.
These workshops are crafted to challenge your creativity and problem-solving skills while providing a platform to showcase your potential in the realms of Design Innovation and Fashion. Each workshop will accommodate a maximum of 25 participants who will stand a chance to get a €4.000 scholarship towards their MA studies.
MA in Design Innovation – Transform Everyday Challenges into Design Opportunities
Participants in the Design Innovation workshop will tackle a brief centered on a realistic everyday situation where the expectations of a group of users are unmet, or only partially met, with significant room for improvement. This workshop encourages participants to think outside the box and explore innovative solutions that could span various design disciplines, including product design, UX design, service design, and communication.
Workshop Brief
Imagine a scenario where a common daily experience falls short of user expectations. Your task is to identify the gaps and envision a transformative solution. Consider how different design approaches could enhance the user experience and address the unmet needs effectively. This is your chance to harness your creativity and technical skills to propose a design intervention that could radically improve the quality of life for these users.

Each session will consist of
· 30 Minutes dedicated to a presentation of the 2-year MA programme, including a Q&A session and a detailed description of the workshop objectives.
· 1 Hour focus time for participants to develop their project ideas, apply their creativity, and work towards their proposed solutions.
MA in Fashion: Design, Art & Technology – Pioneering Sustainable Fashion
The Fashion workshop invites participants to delve into the crucial theme of sustainability within the fashion industry. This workshop is an opportunity to explore innovative practices that can lead to a more sustainable and ethical fashion future.
Workshop Brief
Focus on the theme of sustainability and its impact on the fashion industry. Your challenge is to engage in meaningful dialogues, share insights, and develop a conceptual map that addresses sustainability at every stage of the fashion supply chain. From sourcing materials to production processes, and from design to distribution, your goal is to propose innovative strategies that can make the fashion industry more sustainable and responsible.
