Lirika and Ardea are two Kosovan sisters working together in their own interior and service design studio called ARRA Interior in Prishtina.
Born and raised in Prishtina, Ardea’s fascination with design and problem solving emerged early. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in interior design at Florence Design Academy, where she gained profound understanding of design principles and the transformative power of interior spaces.
Following her bachelors, Ardea pursued master studies at Domus Academy Milan where she delved deeper into conceptual design, product design, and design of space. While studying at Domus Academy, Ardea worked on developing and designing a 3D printer for which Olivetti awarded her a “Special mention for quality of the communication”.
Driven by her innate curiosity about human behaviour and the workings of the mind, Lirika instead began her education by earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Once finished she recognised that the insights gained from her background in psychology could be invaluable to design better business processes and structure. This realisation prompted her to enrol at Domus Academy Milan, where she cultivated her skills in understanding consumer behaviour, experience and interaction design, entrepreneurship through design, product strategy & design. While studying at Domus she had the opportunity to work as assistant project manager at “Warner Bros. Discovery”.
Thanks to our experience at Domus Academy we both have learned how to incorporate research-based approaches into our design process, resulting in spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also deeply rooted in human experience.
