Domus Academy welcomed Martin Enthed, Digital Manager at IKEA Digital Lab & DOIT, for a lecture about “IKEA case studies in AR and 3D Commerce” on 4th December.
Martin shared his twelve-year experience at IKEA with Master’s in Interaction Design and Master’s in Fashion Styling and Visual Merchandising students attending the “Tangible Interactions workshop”, in collaboration with Khronos Group and Biffi Boutiques.
The lecture focused on how IKEA works with Computer Graphics, what they have done in the field of Augmented Reality and about the future of AR.
As Manager for IKEA Digital Lab, Martin identify, investigate and evaluate new technologies specified towards the needs of IKEA and its customers. Before joining IKEA, Martin worked for over 20 years as independent consultant focusing in Design support.
