On September 27th and 28th, Domus Academy will present “Spreading Seeds: Cultivating Environment” at Cascina Cuccagna, an exhibition showcasing student projects developed during the Identity Design workshop in collaboration with Comune di Milano.
This exhibition is part of the official events of Milano Green Week 2024, a significant initiative aimed at fostering sustainable practices and raising environmental awareness through a variety of activities, workshops, and exhibitions that tackle pressing challenges and highlight innovative solutions.
In this context, Domus Academy’s involvement underscores its commitment to sustainability. The exhibition highlights students’ innovative communication strategies designed to promote eco-friendly behaviours among citizens.
In 2019, Comune di Milano introduced the Air and Climate Plan, a strategic initiative aimed at combating climate change, enhancing air quality, and achieving sustainability targets for 2030 and 2050. This plan details actions to minimise environmental impact and prepare the city for climate-related challenges, including extreme weather.
The students have developed multi-channel communication strategies to engage and inspire meaningful interactions with citizens. The goal is to foster a more environmentally conscious city where residents make sustainable choices and reduce their impact on air quality, energy use, urban temperatures, and waste.
Don’t miss the opportunity—come and visit us at Cascina Cuccagna on September 27th and 28th!
