He was also awarded the Harry Crossly and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarships, and the Helen Gardner travel prize.
Paolo completed his Master’s in Design at Domus Academy, where he graduated with distinction.
He returned to South Africa to gain more practical experience at the award-winning firm Louw, Apostolelis, + Bergenthuin architects in Johannesburg and moved back to Cape Town where he co-found Deliperi + Vatteroni Architects in 1998.
