We are honoured to welcome Michele De Lucchi for an Open Lecture on Thursday 17th March, 2022.
De Lucchi, Architect and prominent figure in movements like Alchimia and Memphis, has been Director of Design at Olivetti from 1988 to 2002 and has also designed furniture for the most known Italian and European companies. He is founder and member of AMDL CIRCLE, a creative multidisciplinary studio renowned for its humanistic architecture and design. Since 2018, AMDL CIRCLE focuses on Earth Stations, future sharing architectures that combine technological development with humanist principles.
Throughout his remarkable career, he has designed architectural projects in Italy and abroad, including cultural, corporate, industrial and residential buildings. He has designed working environments and corporate image for Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Bundesbahn, Enel, Poste Italiane, Hera, Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit among others. He developed important hospitality projects in Georgia, China, Japan and various part of Italy. He has planned buildings for museums as Triennale di Milano, Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, Neues Museum in Berlin and Gallerie d’Italia. During 2018 Michele De Lucchi was Guest Editor of the new Domus magazine.
During the Open Lecture, De Lucchi will unfold the pivotal stages of his career while students and guests will have the chance to be inspired by his knowledge and experience
